Book Swap Day
We are excited to announce a special event aimed at promoting the values of re-use and sustainability within our community. The sale of pre-used books is for families and learners of Grade 2 and onwards.
On the Book Swap day, families can come together to trade used course books, non-course books, and stationery/kits. This event will coincide with our new book collection day in school, providing a wonderful opportunity for everyone to refresh their reading collections and educational resources.
Here’s the schedule:

April 1st – 11am onwards: Parents can offer used books and stationery to other parents.

New books and notebooks are available for sale on the online book store. Online purchase links with prescribed books for the year for each Grade will be updated on this page shortly.

Norms
1. The event will run from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
2. Setup time begins at 11:00 AM
3. Venue :- Basketball Court
3. Each class should appoint 2-3 parent representatives along with a few children to manage the tables.
4. All books and materials brought for the swap must be labeled clearly with the following information:
- Name of the child and their grade.
- Price of the Item
- UPI id/QR code (should belong to the family that is offering the item for sale.)
6. Each item should carry a separate label
7. The price of the item should not exceed 50% of the purchase price of a new item.
8. The price offer can range from ₹ 0 to up to 50% of new item price.
9. Learners can offer course books, stationery items, non course books, board games (complete and well kept sets only).
10. New books will also be available for online order on the same day but order processing time will be 2-3 days.
11. Home made items like cake or lemonade can be offered for sale.
What do families need to do at this time?
- Nominate 2-3 parent reps from your group to support this event.
- Self-organize this movement at your group level, set norms!
- Start collecting your used books and materials that you want to offer.
- Label them appropriately with child’s name (with labels that can be easily removed) and other details as stated above.
- If you are travelling, make arrangements to hand over your books to other parents.
- Actively involve children in all these acts.
