Prakriti is now affiliated to Cambridge Assessment International Education (IGCSE)

Starting Oct 1, 2020, Prakriti has been affiliated as a  Cambridge International School. Over 10,000 schools in over 160 countries around the world offer Cambridge qualifications. CAIE is a division of Cambridge Assessment, a not-for-profit organisation and part of the world renowned University of Cambridge. Cambridge IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. It is taken in over 150 countries and in more than 4800 schools around the world. In India there are about 400 schools that are affiliated with Cambridge.

As part of the affiliation process, Cambridge Approval Visit was planned for the first week of August after clearing the basic regulatory milestones. The visit by the officials of the Cambridge Assessment International Examination (a part of the University of Cambridge and the body which conducts the IGCSE exam) required the school to put together years of work to establish our commitment to learning in a globally connected way. All facilitators actively participated and presented to the Cambridge team. 

We have chosen Cambridge over other boards because it offers freedom to learn in the way learners and teachers define together as the best way to learn rather than teaching to test. The learning outcomes defined by Cambridge are very well aligned with 21st Century skills for the learners – Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity.

Cambridge Pathway:

The four stages of Cambridge Pathway lead seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage – Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced – builds on the learners’ development from the previous one, but can also be offered separately.
